Welcome to my website!
I am a development and environmental economist, with interests in labor and firms.
I am an Assistant Professor in Economics at CREST, ENSAE, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, and an Invited Researcher at the Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL).
My aim is to deepen our understanding of the social and environmental drivers of poverty. To do so, the first strand of my research focuses on labor and networks in lower-income countries. My work explores how individuals' labor supply decisions are influenced by their social network members, primarily with field experiments. The second strand of my research focuses on firms' responses to environmental changes. It combines insights from the natural sciences with applied micro-economic tools for causal identification.Â
I hold a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development from Columbia University. During my Ph.D., I have served as a J-PAL Graduate Research Transparency Fellow and as a Lead Teaching Fellow at the Columbia Center for Teaching and Learning.
